This free service is offered to registered Texas voters who need to submit Name and/or Address changes (within the same county as current registration.)
You may only use this service if your new address is in the same county in which you are currently registered. If you proceed through this service and enter an address outside of the county in which you are currently registered, your current voter registration will be canceled and you will not be registered in your new county.
Before proceeding, verify that your new address is in the same county in which you are currently registered at Opens new window Texas Legislature Online.
If your new address is in a different county, you must re-register in your new county by completing a Opens new window voter registration application. Mail your completed application to your local Opens new window County Voter Registrar.
You will receive a new Voter Certificate in the mail within 30 days of submitting a change through this service. If you submit changes less than 30 days prior to an election, you must vote at your current polling location.
This service does not change your address or name on your Driver License. Please visit the Opens new window Driver License and ID Card Online Services website to update your address.
