- Accident
- ALR -
- Administrative License Revocation
- ALR Suspension -
- a civil procedure for the removal of driving privileges for refusal to provide or failure of a breath or blood alcohol test
- BAC -
- Breath or Blood Alcohol Concentration
- Cancellation -
- a removal of driving privileges resulting from failure to meet license requirements
- CDL -
- a Commercial Driver License issued to an individual that authorizes them to drive a class of commercial motor vehicle
- CMV -
- Commercial Motor Vehicle
- Contempt -
- minor failure to pay a fine or cost ordered by the court
- Court Order -
- a legal document signed by a judge that grants or restricts certain privileges
- Denial -
- prohibiting the issuance or renewal of a Texas driver license
- Dept Suspension -
- an administrative suspension initiated by the DPS as a result of a violation of state or federal law
- DIC-81 -
- a form used by the court to remove or restore a minor’s license for failure to appear or pay a fine
- Disqualification -
- a removal of commercial driving privileges
- DL -
- a Driver License issued by the DPS for the operation of a motor vehicle
- DUI -

- Interlock -

- LVSC -

- Mandatory Suspension -
- a removal of driving privileges resulting from convictions reported by the court
- NRVC (Non Resident Violator Compact) -
- unresolved moving violations committed in another state by a Texas driver
- Occupational License -
- a court order authorizing the operation of a non-commercial motor vehicle for persons whose license eligibility has been removed
- Out of Service Order -
- Commercial motor vehicle in violation of CDL requirements are placed “out of service” and unable to operate their CMV
- Out of State Clearance Letter -
- a letter reflecting a clear status from another state's driver licensing agency
- PDO -
- Property Damage Only associated with an accident
- Provisional Violator -
- licensed driver under the age of 18 with two or more convictions reported by the court
- Prohibition -
- unable to apply for a Texas driver license for a specific time period
- REG -
- Texas vehicle registration
- Revocation -
- an indefinite removal of driving privileges initiated by the DPS or ordered by the court
- SR11 -
- a notarized release from liability or judgments resulting from an accident
- SR19 -
- a notarized installment agreement between two or more parties involved in a property damage or injury accident
- SR22 -
- a Financial Responsibility Insurance Certificate issued by a DPS authorized insurance company
- SR60 -
- a notarized form indicating two years has passed since an accident and no court ordered judgment has been filed
- SR88 -
- a form used by the court to restore license eligibility if a judgment against a driver has not been renewed
